I believe your body already knows how to heal. Sometimes it just needs someone to help it remember.
I'm Anna, a yoga therapist and breathwork instructor based in Prague, helping people reconnect with themselves through yoga therapy, breathwork, and somatic practices.
I created BodyMindSoul for anyone navigating stress, anxiety, burnout, chronic illness, hormonal changes, or simply feeling that something needs to shift but not knowing where to begin.
My work brings together yoga philosophy, modern neuroscience, and a deeply personal approach to support your nervous system, body, and mind—meeting you exactly where you are.
About Me

My Inspiration and Teachers
The foundation of my work rests on the shoulders of people whose thinking changed the way I understand the human experience.
Gabor Maté — Canadian physician and one of the most compassionate voices on trauma, addiction, and the connection between emotional pain and physical illness. His work gave me a language for things I had lived but could not yet name.
Peter Levine — American psychotherapist and creator of Somatic Experiencing, a body-based approach to healing trauma. He was among the first to articulate what I had begun to feel in my own practice: that the body holds what the mind cannot yet process.
Bessel van der Kolk — Dutch-American psychiatrist and author of The Body Keeps the Score. His research on how trauma reshapes the brain and body is, for me, essential reading for anyone trying to understand why we are the way we are.
Anodea Judith — American therapist and author of Eastern Body, Western Mind, which bridges the chakra system with Western developmental psychology in a way that is both rigorous and deeply human.
Alongside this Western science sits something older. The philosophical traditions of yoga and Buddhism form the other half of my foundation — not as religion, but as a map of consciousness, breath, and the relationship between body and mind that predates neuroscience by thousands of years. The two, I have found, say the same things in different languages.
But when I sat down to write about inspiration, I kept coming back to the same people. Not the ones in the books. The ones in my life. These are my real teachers.
I am lucky beyond what I deserve in my friendships. These women shaped me and continue to inspire me.

Carolien
I have known Carolien for more than twenty-six years. She is one of the most loyal and generous people I have ever known — a mother, a partner, a philanthropist, a professional, a friend who has never once stopped showing up.
She was the one who first showed me the joy of volunteering — she simply began giving her time to children in an orphanage, and from there developed so many different charitable projects. When her children left home, she completed several degrees. She never stops learning. When we meet, there is never enough time for everything we want to talk about: our children, their victories and struggles, the latest in women's health and neuroscience, and — always — fashion.
She taught me that the most precious currency we have is time.
Irča
We met in the boxing ring — at a kickboxing competition — and it was love at first sight. Irca kicked my butt on more than one occasion, though not the first time — I'll give myself that. I lacked her technique and style, but compensated with the heart of a Russian tank. She went on long after I stopped, becoming World Champion several times over.
Irca is what an incredible spirit looks like in practice. Everything she takes on — sport, her career as Marketing Director, her certification as a sommelier — she approaches with full commitment and genuine excellence. Her latest undertaking is motherhood, and she is doing it exactly the way she does everything else: with her whole heart.
Miša
Probably the most grounded person I know — and honestly, it is slightly annoying how she is always right. She seems to move through life with ease, but nobody sees the work that went into building that kind of steadiness. She built her own business from scratch, is a devoted daughter, a patient friend, and a deeply caring sister.
But if I had to name one thing, it would be the mother she is. In a world that makes it genuinely hard to raise balanced, rooted children, she has done it — quietly, without fuss, against the odds. If that is not a legacy, I don't know what is.
We both grew up in the former Soviet Union, and I think it marked us in similar ways — the hunger for personal freedom, the desire to live differently from what our society expected, and the determination to give that same freedom to our children.
Zamira is an investigative journalist with the heart of a lion and a fighter's instinct for justice. She raised two daughters entirely on her own while managing a demanding career. She is kind, passionate, and an extraordinary host — she makes the best pilaf in the world. At sixty, she nailed crow pose on her first attempt and has headstand firmly in her sights. She is my personal proof that age is just a number.

My Children
My beautiful Martin and Daniela — so different from each other, both finding their own way. They teach me, every day, about unconditional love and the art of letting go.
I am not a great admirer of Elon Musk, but something he once said has stayed with me: "My children didn't choose to be born. I chose to have children. They owe me nothing. I owe them everything."
I could not have said it better myself.

My Partner
My Gianni. The biggest lesson he has taught me is patience — real patience, the kind that does not waver.
I met him at the very beginning of the hardest period of my life. He saw the light in me when I was certain I had lost it. He stood by me quietly, steadily, never doubting, always there.
It is that kind of patience I hope to bring to the people I work with.
My Education and Trainings
Think of this as the tip of the iceberg — the formal training I can list. Below the surface is the ongoing study that actually shapes how I work: research, practice, and a commitment to never treating my education as finished.
